Your mission

 

You will be responsible for developing sales and reaching profit objectives through a well-defined sales and marketing strategic plan by account. The position requires emphasis on business growth through flawless execution, assuring customer satisfaction and establishing long term relationships. This role will be based in Vancouver or Western Canada.

 

Your main challenges

 

  • Build and routinely update business plans based on knowledge of the industry, emerging customer needs, and Essilor offerings that provide a forward looking view of the next 1-3 years;
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels, with a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness, identify and implement product/promotion initiatives, develop and execute sales effectiveness opportunities and maximize the customer collaboration;
  • Lead customer negotiations. Prepare all appropriate inputs including product, price, service or technology and implement agreed upon outcomes;
  • Build supporting financial analysis for business plans and lead the management/qualification of risks and opportunities to drive the business plan;
  • Establish a quarterly business review and create common action plans to ensure financial growth for both parties;
  • Develop business cases to support internal discussions for new business opportunities;
  • Ensure the highest level of customer experience on each and every engagement.

 

Your profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role (optical or healthcare industry an asset);
  • Business acumen and proven ability to effectively negotiate with customers;
  • Ability to create and execute strategic business plans;
  • Project management, analytical and time management skills;
  • Experienced facilitating and leading meetings with decision makers and executives to successfully drive value.
  • Bilingual (fluent) English/French is required
