Job Purpose

 

Based in Tuam - Ireland (TOL), and as part of the global SC department, you will be in charge of all aspects of demand management. You consolidate all sources of demand in collaboration with the OG Supply Chain team, the Account Manager in Asia, and the New Product Manager. You are responsible for the forecast and the distribution keys accuracy.

The Sales & Operations planning is a strategic process which goal is to guaranty that the global network of plants, distribution sites and inventories is able to serve our customers with the expected level of performance in quality and costs. It covers all OG and non-integrated IG Patners’ sales made in Transitions on an 18 months horizon. Forecasts are used to plan production capacities on a monthly basis, as well as dye purchases, ultimately to reach the right level of customer service

 

Key Responsibilities of the Role

1. You manage the collaborative demand planning process within Transitions

2. You are responsible for demand profile of the customers under his/her responsibility:

- You follow the sales performance on your scope

- You issue the statistical baseline of sales forecast to the account managers on time

- You integrate phenomena linked to market trends, new products, marketing actions and new business activities thanks to information provided by the OG SC & Commercial team and the New Product Manager

3. You compute and validate replenishment forecast

4. You manage the update of distribution keys whenever necessary

5. You organize the communication of the changes in the demand scenario to all stakeholders

6. You administrate the forecasting tool (Aperia), control BI interfaces and make sure historical data are accurate

7. You propose actions to improve forecasting process and lead Kaizens and projects.

8. You manage customer and product referential needed for Aperia and reporting (scope of responsibility to be reviewed).

9. You dimension the stock for the European distribution center

10. You publish relevant KPIs:

- Sales and replenishment forecast accuracy and bias

- Distribution Keys accuracy (KPI to be developed)

- Respect of process calendar (drumbeat KPI)

- Customer demand review implemented and gap forecast/budget decreasing

 

Key Requirements (Education and Experience)

Master in Supply chain/ Operations management or Business or Engineering or Statistics

APICS certification preferred with 3-5 years directly related supply chain experience.  Knowledge of S&OP systems and process. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
