PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES OF ROLE

 

This is a five (5) months assignment to cover for a maternity leave within the Global Talent Acquisition Function of Essilor based out of Singapore or Manila (the Philippines). The role’s primary responsibilities are to run end to end recruitment for senior level roles across Asia (primarily) and outside Asia as the role is part of the Global Talent Acquisition organisation.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsible for the following functional activities for the AMERA/Global scope:

  • End to end recruitment for senior/leadership positions and critical roles within the region and for some global roles
  • Use proactive recruitment strategies to scout for external talent (i.e. talent market research, proactive approach to candidates, talent pipe-lining)
  • Be the owner and the guardian of the recruitment process to ensure top notch experience for the internal clients (the hiring panel) and for the candidates. Ensure recruitment process excellence from the flow and stakeholder management perspective
  • Ensure all hirings are done through the system. Use the system to track personal performance against the global KPIs
  • Choose optimal channels to reach out to and attract best fit candidates
  • Proactive external talent mapping for critical roles as part of “develop or attract” talent initiatives
  • Scouting for best suitable talent inside Essilor (internal candidates), alongside external recruitment
  • Apply robust selection process to bring in top talent into the organization
  • Support Essilor’s Employer Brand initiatives including but not limited to Essilor EB storytelling to the external candidates
  • Take active part in the global Talent Acquisition projects and programs like strategic talent injection (See Growth), internal mobility, etc. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related studies
  • Diploma in Human Resources with more years of relevant working experience will be considered as well
  • Excellent command of English is a must. Any other lanuage of the Asian region is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition in a best practice environment
  • Strong track record in managing recruitment process end to end
  • Strong in managing intake meetings and defining success profiles, managing candidate funneling, selecting and assessing, closing the roles successfully
  • Keep stakeholders involved and informed during the entire recruitment process. Proactively provide the feedback.
  •  Solid understanding of various recruitment channels and ability to advice on the fit for purpose recruitment strategy for each individual hiring
  • Savvy on tools and technologies supporting the recruitment process: LinkedIn, ATS, video interviewing, etc.
  • Strong research experience, including but not limited to identification of target industries and companies, creating robust long and short lists of candidates, generating leads. Mapping, etc.
  • Previous participation in regional or global Talent Acquisition programs and projects is a significant advantage
  • Regional or sub-regional experience in talent acquisition
  • Ability to work cross border and operate successfully in a complex business set up.
  • Ideal working experience in the consumer, retail, or B to B to C environment
  • Experience in recruitment consulting and campus recruitment is a plus
