Currently, we’re seeking a warehouse manager to oversee operations at our new laboratory in Rayong. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy and coordinate order fulfillment in strong relation with purchasing and production team. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Warehouse management

  • Manage interactions with central inventory team to control inventory levels and keep stock control systems up to date
  • Manage local warehouses for consumables, spare parts and instruments
  • Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities including receipt, order, pick, pack and ship of goods (lenses, consumables, spare parts, frames, etc.)
  • Work with production team in scheduling deliveries to production shop floor.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently
  • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies (inbound, domestic & outbound)
  • Plan future capacity requirements
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, equipment and building

Team management

  • Maintain employee by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training warehouse staff
  • Perform annual review campaigns of direct reports (i.e. annual appraisal, IDP, career & development discussion, people review)
  • Encourage teamwork, manage daily communication meeting with warehouse team
  • Complete warehouses operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
  • Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure targets are met or exceeded EHS & prevention
  • Respect and apply all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Advise management on new legislation
  • Apply and maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security


  • Update and maintain warehouse KPI’s, present reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Analyze results and recommend performance improvements to management


  • Participate actively in new warehouse system implementation
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Must have

Required skill and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in industrial or supply chain management.
  • +5 to 10 years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiency.
  • Ability to delegate when assigning employee workload.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible and varying schedule.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal in English.


Preferred skill and qualifications:

  • APICS certified is a plus
  • Proficiency with SCM+ for warehouses
  • Experience with multi-national companies
  • License to operate a forklift (optional)
  • Knowledge of MRP or ERP software ie. SAP, Oracle
