My day at EssilorLuxottica
1) Ensure that safety rules are known and applied: Ensure that anybody coming in the workshop wear all required PPE. Ensure a good housekeeping of areas and machines. Has the authority to stop equipment or people work in case of danger. Conduct Safety Audit, walk on floor to manage the daily operation to meet Safety Policy, Rules and Regulations, etc. Fill SOR observation cards (1 per month) otherwise act on the spot. Review and Raise the Safety Issues and concerns for corrective and preventive actions. Where possible, take ownership for actions which can be handled by himself.
2) Able to drive the standard: Develop, write and revise the work instruction (SOP / PCP) and strongly control their college to follow the SOP / PCP and the golden rule including all manufacturing procedure and company policy to produce the lens in the good quality level. Able to raise deviation in the process, confirm observation with process engineer who will issue the yellow card. Ensure standard are compliant with company certification (ISO 9001, ISO13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
3) Workshop KPI management. Able to management the team to achieve the workshop goal in daily / weekly and monthly. Such as: Daily output / Quality Yield / Manpower plan to achieve the productivity / Short processing time and less consumption to produce the lens.
4) Proactive and lead to organize the quality meeting in daily production and able to raise and co – ordinate other concern such as process engineering team or CI team in the QRQC level 1 and structure of the 5Why to know the real root cause and provide the short term solution and solve the issue immediately and collective action with the team.
5) Understand and able to develop the RX_SURFACING PROCESS to get the ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certification and maintain every year.
6) Have an experience how to training and coaching their college and maintain their skills and develop more multi – skills and solve the issue that happen the team have a conflict in the good direction.
Must have
1) Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related.
2) Have experience in manufacturing or production at least 3 years.
3) Able to work in shift pattern and high pressure condition to be advantage.
4) Have knowledge or experience in Industrial tool, KAIZEN, Lean or Six Sigma, able to use the Minitab application.
5) Have the concept of the automation / machine / PLC.
6) Able to use the Microsoft Office. Power point / Excel / Word and presentation skill.
