Report to ELTL Frame Manufacturing Manager, the Frame Industrial Training and Development, Assistance Manager main missions are leading the training system for both operational and technical related to ensure the targeted people are trained and re-training as planned to make sure they can deliver the results as expected. She/he will be the master trainer of the specific training courses in order the develop both the soft skills and hard skills of the workshop leaders, trainers and operator to be efficient coaches and trainers managing their teams in daily operations. She/he will work closely with the Frame Production/Logistic managers and Production/Logistic supervisors to ensure the training activities meet their expectations as the key driver in delivering the best operational performances. Also, she/he will work in a close relationship with site Engineers and central training teams to ensure all the training documents are correct and up to date utilizing best practice sharing among the training community and ensure the communication on site about the training system initiatives. She/he will comply with the EHS and HR policies.


My day at EssilorLuxottica

  • Lead the implementation of training system in the plant according to Essilorluxottica training model and ensure the sustainability of solutions implemented for ELTL Frame operation and DC.   
  • Lead and drive team for the result of training to reach the training system goal and align with standard the training sustainability matrix audit.
  • Lead the implementation of training system for operator, leader, trainer and supervisor of new plan.
  • Co-design training modules in the plant for Operators, technicians and engineers and Follow up with full support given to operating people to success all training activities.
  • Lead the training plan to serve new plant start up and manpower ramp up. Develop culture of employee empowerment to encourage employees aware important of training.
  • Coordinates with Corporate Learning &Development Teams for training and development for leader and exempt level.
  • Establishing the new training modules covering all workstations of Frame operation and DC for the new plant start-up using the EssilorLuxottica training methodology for reference.
  • Revise the training document inside each training module to be up to date based on the technical information change from Engineer and central training teams.
  • Mastering the training record document center with accurate traceability.
  • Be the master trainer of the “Train The Trainer” course for the operator trainer and the “Train The Coach” course for the workshop leader.
  • Trainer/Provide training: TTT: Train the trainer for operation and Expertise / TTC: Train the coach and L3: LOFT Lab Leader for Leader and Supervisor/ Training module design for operation and Expertise.
  • Be the trainer to train middle management people to be the efficient workshop leader on the floor.
  • Drive to get the achievement of 3 training KPIs for the operators: 1) Operator multi-skills 2) On plan Re-training 3) Dynamic job rotation.
  • Periodical audit of the operator trainers and workshop leaders to ensure efficient training and coaching activities.
  • Organize the periodical training certification ceremony with the involvement of management and middle management teams.
  • Propose training improvement action plans for the plant with ELTL Frame manufacturing Manager and other concerned managers and the training monthly report summarizes the achievement.
  • Attending the monthly training community meeting to be shared and got best practice sharing from the other sites.
  • Contribute to the external/internal audits.
  • Any other responsibilities are instructed by company.

Must have

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment from a multinational company.
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, science or a related field.
  • Capable to train every hierarchical level in the plant on the training related with good presentation skill.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level including good English (both written and spoken).
  • Customer oriented with flexibility & adaptable to the uncertainty of the daily manufacturing environment.
  • Efficient trainer and coach mindset.
  • Flexible and able to work through ambiguities.
  • Solid knowledge of MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • KPI drove with a structured problem-solving approach.
