Title:  Senior Financial Accountant

Reporting to our Financial Director the role of our Senior Financial Accountant is crucial in maintaining the precision and reliability of financial data through proficient month-end reporting, adept cash flow management, and thorough examinations of the balance sheet. We are seeking an accomplished accounting professional with a solid grasp of financial principles, a demonstrated history of implementing operational enhancements, the capability to enhance the overall financial well-being of the organization and people management capabilities for the management of our Financial Accountant.  

 

Requirements for Success

  • Lead and manage the month end close process across multiple operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports
  • Analyse financial data and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure alignment with global cash management goals
  • Prepare, monitor and manage cash flow for multiple operations.
  • Conduct regular detailed reviews of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Implement controls to mitigate risks and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets
  • Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit queries, and implement audit recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accounting and financial processes

 

Skills & Experience              

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • 4+ years progressive experience in financial accounting roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multiple levels of organisations, regions and cultures
  • Commercially minded with strong leadership and influencing skills to deliver effective solutions to support business growth and cost management
