Title:  Instruments Technician

Mission 

Ensure customer satisfaction by installing and repairing optical equipment and instruments in them. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • OPTICAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUMENTS INSTALLATION (install optical equipment and instruments on customers, according to the needs communicated and within the defined deadlines)
  • MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF OPTICAL EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUMENTS (carry out the maintenance and repair activities of optical equipment and instruments, identifying anomalies and implementing the necessary preventive and corrective measures, with a view to their proper functioning)
  • ARTICULATION WITH SALES TEAM (ensure communication and articulation with the sales team, with a view to promoting and boosting the identification of potential business opportunities)
  • SCHEDULING VISITS (carry out the planning and scheduling of visits, ensuring compliance with the requirements and references defined by the Management)
  • TRAININGS (conduct training on the themes of their area of expertise and intervention, with a view to enduring the participants with the necessary knowledge about them)
  • TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS (identify and analyze the existing technological solutions in the market, selecting those that best fit the specificities of Essilor, in order to respond in the most efficient way and directed to medium and long-term needs)
  • SUPPORT IN LAUNCHING NEW PRODUCTS (contribute with technical opinions in the process of launching new products, sharing inputs and providing information to support decision-making processes)
  • COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES (ensure full compliance with the Company's Internal Standards and Procedures, acting as an example, ensuring safety standards for people and equipment)

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional technical course in electromechanical, computer or similar
  • Relevant experience on a similar role (with the equipment) in the industrial field 
  • Great knowledge in the level of connectivity from the equipment to the digital data networks (expert in terms of the connectivity of the equipment to the cloud)
  • Good understanding of IT related topics
  • Electronic, electromechanic knowledge
  • Readiness to travel (every day travels)
  • Microsoft knowledge (Excel, Word)
  • Fluent Portuguese
  • Communicative English
  • Driving license
  • Agility and autonomy
  • Proactive and Client oriented approach
