Essilor Quality Center (EQC) is indipendent testing labs for the group under ISO17025 accreditation, 6 locations around the world, providing test service as 40 expertise methods support product validation,audit, benchmark, expertise and customer complain. The main internal customers of EQC Bangkok are GLE, Asia Export Labs, Asia Mass production plants, APAC labs, Zone quality and also Essilor worldwide.

 

Your day in the EQC team

Within the EQC laboratory, you will need to ensure:

  • Metrological monitoring of EQC Testing Equipment /Tools/software/Reference standards
  • Assist to growth and ensure laboratory resources competency are well sustainable as following

                -Lab personal competency [ Intra-lab and Inter-lab comparison]

                -Lab equipment and tools and reference standards efficiency

                -The internal / external providers management

                -Lab environment

  • Ensuring validity of results procedure of Test Method
  • Support EQC internal audit
  • Manage EQC metrology team and cooperate with Global EQC
  • Manage and acting impartially complying Global EQC a code of conduct which defined in Global EQC Quality Manual

 

As EQC Engineer, you will be in charge of:

  • Ensuring the maintenance of laboratory equipment and facility condition are in control
  • Manage and statistically review Calibration result and Intermediate checks and Quality Control on measuring equipment
  • Performing and review method assessment 
  • Review testing result report
  • Evaluating and maintaining the competency of team
  • Organizing intra-labs to improve team skill related to Global EQC define or training plan define
  • Coordinating with Global EQC to perform inter-lab comparison and interpret the results

 

Your success in this position will be measured by

  • The performance of lab comparison result monitoring and treatment
  • The state of personal competency as intra-lab comparison result
  • The state of the equipment efficiency
  • The state of uncertainty of measurement result
  • The state of quality control review result

 

Must have

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering, or Chemistry or Physics
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Laboratory or related field
  • Strong on analytical skills, problem solving.
  • Good knowledge in Metrology, Lab measurement analysis.
  • Competent in Statistical Analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Proficient with MS office program (especially MS Excel, MS Powerpoint etc.), LIMS
  • Fair written and spoken English.
