Position: GLE Asia HMC Senior Process Engineer
Location: Ladkrabang, Bangkok

Mission - Purpose of the job:

As a member of GLE Asia HMC, main mission is to provide technical support to the Essilor base plants in the field of HC & AR expertise, and to insure roll out of new products and new technologies.

Context and Main Challenges:

GLE Asia HMC Senior Process Engineer evolves in a context of production with often limited time. He/she needs to adapt him(her)self to local production constraints and to ensure that quality and standards are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The GLE  Asia HMC Senior Process Engineer mainly works as a resource or leader in project, RTE (request to engineering) or SR (study request) to support Essilor base plants and other internal customers  with HMC expertise as following aspects;

• Provide technical support and guidance (Troubleshooting, Audit, Training)
• Contribute and support on new HMC product industrialization 
• Develop new product according to customers' needs
• Promote and support HMC industrial performance improvement
• Contribute and support on EHS group policy deployment
• Propose production improving idea with innovation card
• Working on the GE internal SR for feasibility test of improving idea or new product
• Capitalize, promote and reinforce expertise sharing in technologies, processes, products, equipment  and organization
• Support his/her manager on GE proposition for each team activities
• Support on team growth with coaching on technical side
• Communication with all entities in Essilor and partners to ensure the work efficiency
• Working with QMS guideline to be sure all activities are handled with right procedure

Skills / Competences / Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline, such as Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in industrial engineer, development engineer in manufacturing business
• Having strong experience in manufacturing environment with a technical background is key.
• Be autonomous, have a good communication and be able to take decisions.
•  Demonstrate a high adaptability (various production environments, relationship with different interlocutors, large variety of troubles, ...)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skill
• Good command of English
