Senior Analyst, HRIS


Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Capital Management system, as well as other systems supported by the HRIS team to maximize system efficiencies in an effort to meet the strategic and operational needs of the business. This position serves as a point of contact and subject matter expert for functional areas within the HCM system, such as Core HR, Integrations, Advanced Reporting, and Calculated Fields and other modules. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing, changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HCM upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.


Specific Duties:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop HRIS solutions, process improvements, and policy changes designed to improve user experience and process efficiency.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and design HRIS configuration needs and existing design to meet changing demands.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the HRIS HCM solution.
  • Maintain and promote awareness of system capabilities, new releases and upgrades, and how they impact existing and future HR functionality.
  • Responsible for in-house development and design of integrations or working with external vendors (related to benefits and other vendors) in/out of the HRIS system. Integration experience with: of developing, configuring, and testing utilizing Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Cloud Connects, Core Connectors, RaaS reports, complex calculated fields, custom reports, Workday Web Services, Workday Studio, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Perform key annual processes within the HRIS system, while utilizing independent judgement but not limited to: Annual Enrollment, Bonus, Merit, Performance Reviews, Talent Management, Absence, etc.
  • Proactively identifies areas where HR data is not up to date and works with HR partners to suggest and implement ways to improve data quality.
  • Responsible for ad-hoc reports within the system based on business and/or customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to configuration, integrations, business processes and HRIS security.
  • Operational knowledge of how Workday, SAP HCM, SuccessFactors works with other internal systems (i.e. ADP Payroll, Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Serve on or lead small project teams.
  • Point of escalation for the HR Operation Center.



  • Bachelor degree required.
  • 4-6 years of HRIS experience, Workday, SAP HCM, SuccessFactors is highly preferred.
  • Ability to make presentations to all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure customers are satisfied and systems are up and running at all times.
  • Ability to analyze business and technical processes and determine ways of making them more efficient.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Must have collaborative work style.
  • Must be able to maintain strictest confidence.
