POSITION PURPOSE:

The primary responsibility of the Sales Compensation & Analytics Manager is to lead the commissions team to ensure that the Sales Organization is paid accurately and on time. The Commissions Manager is also responsible for analyzing commission’s performance and providing insights to leadership. Additionally, the Commissions Manager plays a key role in designing commission plans and incentive programs that will drive the correct behavior within the sales organization.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of commissions analysts
  • Oversee the commission calculation and payment process
  • Provide analysis to support recommendations for improvements in the commission plan and commission process
  • Lead conversation with team members and Management to discuss changes and improvements
  • Work closely with other groups such as Reporting, Sales Analysts, IT and HR to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Support the Sales Organization in answering questions and pro-actively communicating updates, as needed

  • High level of technical understanding and hands on experience including dealing with complex data systems and processes
  • Effectively communicates with and engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing
  • Effective team player - this position will heavily rely on collaborating with other groups
  • Superior data analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and discipline in following-up
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines

  • Strong customer support orientation

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required (BBA, BAS, or BBS)
    • 5+ years of successful experience in similar roles
  • Experience with ICM - Incentive Compensation Management system, preferably Xactly
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience with large data manipulation
  • Experience with Oracle Reporting (OBIEE) and SalesForce.com (CRM) is a plus
