Position:

The position of Marketing Associate, Digital Media reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and is responsible for creating content, posting content, monitoring engagement and updating marketing efforts on Essilor Vision Foundation’s digital channels. The ability to design graphics, edit images, write, proofread and understand basic understand social media analytics is critical to the success of this position. The position will assist in the creation of custom content for EVF’s website, emails and social media to increase engagement, report on social media ad performance and integrate social media with EVF’s partnerships and calendar of events. This position will have key contributions to nationwide digital campaigns and learn digital marketing best practices, strategies and use of social media tools.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Posting to EVF’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Participating actively in daily social listening and tracking industry trends
  • Drafting social media content calendar for each platform based on strategies and goals
  • Monitoring analytics to track trends in content performance
  • Writing story-based content for social media and emails
  • Applying communication themes and goals to social media content
  • Monitoring digital ad performance and spend
  • Ensuring Facebook audiences are up-to-date with latest contact information
  • Creating and reporting digital analytics, reports and trends to manager
  • Employing social listening tools to moderate and interact with social fans
  • Manage the social profiles for EVF’s President
  • Customizing content for use on multiple digital channels like emails, webpages and blogs
  • Learning the basics of digital marketing strategy, email marketing, list hygiene and email analytics
  • Monitor Google Ads, landing page traffic and suggest improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Core Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager
  • Ability to understand basic metrics in analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
  • Working mastery of Google Business Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides) or equivalent software

 

Requirements:

  • Experience posting to or managing a Facebook Business page
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software highly preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Related internship experience or 1-year of work experience
