Due to an internal promotion and change, Optical Supply of Australia (OSA) is looking for an Account Manager for a territory extending from Sydney to Newcastle and Sydney to Canberra.

 

Our Account Managers are the front-face of our company, working directly with our customers to grow their business and ours, through developing growth strategies for practices, upskilling practice staff on the benefits of OSA products, and working closely with our Customer Services teams to ensure a high level of service and support to any issues our customers are experiencing.

 

Key to success in the role is strong communication and relationship management skills, underpinned by excellent business acumen, understanding of pricing strategy and margins, analytical skills (including use of Excel and BI Tools) and experience in converting new business opportunities.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years in optical sales (lens or contact lens ideally), with experience as an Account Manager
  • Ability to analyse sales data and convert to actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and convert new business opportunities
  • Prior experience in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and sales reporting software
  • Experience in working with practice staff, either in a B2B sales role or working in a practice
  • A vehicle, and current open driver’s license
  • Candidates with qualifications and/or experience in Optical Dispensing will be highly regarded
