A day at Essilor

  • Leading all solar technical activities in all phases of the projects according to the project’s objectives: definition, design, drawings, tendering, scheduling, implementation, installation and commissioning etc.
  • Be the key advisor in Building management system and solar system and solution
  • Ensure the proper project preparation and deliver the required documentation: definition of the requirements, design, control the budgetary stage and ensure its transparent communication: quotation, tendering, BOQ, etc.
  • Define the schedule and manage the project team and contractors to ensure a delivery on time.
  • Lead project review to ensure the good quality of the construction in progress.
  • Make sure all activities are compliant with local regulation (permits, certification).
  • For the construction phase, with the support of the ESH local or regional representative, make sure all safety rules are properly applied by everyone.
  • Make sure the all documentation to be delivered is : defined / available / updated. (user & functional
  • Work with internal Operations team throughout project development and implementation.
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors throughout project development and implementation.

 

Must have

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in Solar installation project in Manufacturing site
  • Experience in Solar Building Management System  is a must, preferably in manufacturing site.
  • Experience and knowledge on the design and construction process of distributed generation, commercial solar PV, and utility-scale solar PV projects.
  • Good project management skills and experience with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and solar modeling tools, including Helioscope.
  • Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
