Title:  Business Process Owner - Supply Chain

 Purpose of the Role:

 

Within the AMERA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Russia, Africa) Operations Division, your role, as a Business Process Owner (BPO) for Supply Chain, will be to standardize and improve AMERA business operations processes and support the transformation of Operations.

 

Scope of the Role:

 

Your main missions will be:

 

  • To participate to the definition of the AMERA Supply Chain Road Maps.
  • To define standard and improve existing processes for Supply Chain.
  • To accompany the change management relatively to the processes you will define. This can lead to realize some missions in AMERA Regions.
  • To align organizations and set Process governance in AMERA and collaboratively with WWSCP.  To animate a community of experts and key-contributors across the regions of AMERA (best practices, benchmarking, training and E-learning) .
  • To define KPI and measure the performance of processes.
  • To participate in the definition of functional requirements of IT solution for the processes you manage, BI included.
  • To conduct technology and opportunity watch

 

The Business Process Owner for Supply Chain will manage the processes for Forecasting, sourcing and planning of stored components, inventory management (externals processes with suppliers or customers and internal processes within Essilor and partners), Replenishment, Procurement for In Group items. He/She will be responsible of the standardization of E2E bulk order fulfillment. He/She will work collaboratively with the other BPO in charge of other business processes when needed. The scope of the BPO Supply Chain can evolve to other Supply Chain processes according the opportunities for Operations to extend its service offer.

Profile Requird:

 

  • Upto 10 years of job experience in Logistics with proven experience in planning, Inventory Management, replenishment, procurement, stored item fulfillment, sales item fulfillment, or project management in the related business field.  
  • Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Supply Chain.
  • Basic Knowledge for IT functional would be appreciated.
  • Understanding of the business environment and activities, user needs and constraints.
  • Experience in Supply Chain (planning, inventory Management, replenishment process, procurement, stored item fulfilment, sales order fulfilment …)
  • Experience in management (direct or indirect)
  • Project management experience (as Project Manager or core project team member)
  • Knowledge of the drafting and mapping of processes.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system
  • Familiarity with BPMN.
  • Wholesaler, Logistics or Supply Chain industries
  • International experience [preferred]

  • Technical skills :
    • Understanding of the business environment and activities, user needs and constraints,
    • Good knowledge for Demand Management, Forecasting, Inventory Management, stock replenishment, Purchasing process. APICS certificate will be considered.
    • Mastering of organization.
    • Mastering Project Management methodology
    • Mastering of need expression.
    • Mastering of writing and mapping business process (policies, S&OP, etc…)  with related tools (knowledge of SCOR is a plus, BPMN as well).
    • Knowledge of one ERP systems for Supply chain management or BI.
    • Mastering of office/Google suite tools.
