The position holder will lead an ambitious lean program – LIFE - launched by the group.
He/She will develop, promote, and support the execution of the continuous improvement program for our 3 Asian plants (EMTC and TOTL in Thailand, ELCL in Laos)
Your day in the Worldwide LIFE team
Short term activities
Animate the company LIFE (Lean Initiative for Excellence) program, in order to improve performances and generate cost saving program.
a. Ensure deployment of this breakthrough program. Support the plants in the implementation of the LIFE system and related CI tools (lean initiative, Kaizen, 5S, QRAP, Loading file etc)
b. Lead specific workshops in plants in order to bring changes and improvements on the floor
c. Make sure priorities are defined and action plans aligned accordingly
d. Make sure results are properly consolidated, communicated, and commented at all levels
e. Organize periodic reviews with all concerned persons in order to follow up the program
f. Ensure the coordination with the worldwide Continuous Improvement organization
Middle term activities
Deploy the LIFE system
a. Participate to the building period of the new LIFE System and contribute to build some specific expertise training modules depending on his own expertise fields
b. Train teams in accordance with the LIFE academy program
c. Coordinator n the region of the LIFE academy deployment
d. Coach and develop teams
Develop Continuous Improvement culture
Long term activities
Determine budget targets for LIFE actions in line with plant budget
Lead diagnosis of the site (end to end or deep dive)
Support to define LIFE priorities of the site
Track KPI’s / STA / Savings
Ensure reporting (on saving, best practices, + 1slide subject summary)
Define the required training (LIFE, others)
Contribute to future state, ideal state
Help to define list of projects as part of MTP
Develop automation projects
Organize regular LIFE maturity assessment and review for actions with site management
Must have
Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience in Problem solving and decision making method, SPC, and experimental design, Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
1. Significant knowledge of continuous improvement tools with proven successful implementation.
2. Significant manufacturing experience at manager level in Asia (> 5 years)
3. Able to deal with diverse people at any level of the organization
4. Excellent interpersonal skills including interest for people development
5. Must demonstrate a passion for achieving results
6. Action oriented and hands on approach
This position requires travelling to Laos ~ 20% of the time.
