Title: Supply Chain Project Specialist
Job Summary
This position is responsible to take the lead in the optimization project on the supply chain flow in one of our manufacturing sites. Lead the key local projects, which will create an impact to the operation of the site.
Job Description
￭ To take the lead on the key project, for example Smart Launcher in the Lab.
￭ To manage some key local projects to optimize the supply chain in the manufacturing site (e.g Smart Launcher).
￭ To reduce Work in Progress lenses and to improve lead time in supply chain.
￭ To simplify the process in Warehouse in relations to the Smart Launcher - To liaise with different stakeholders to lead the projects.
￭ Setting setup, maintain and improve parameters and structure in SML.
￭ Setting the performance objectives and develop and administer special projects in areas that need improvement actions.
￭ Analyzing supply chain processes and procedures.
￭ Identifying opportunities for process improvement, simplification, waste / non-value added process removal, and cost reduction.
￭ Working to continuously improve processes both on the process steps as well as transactional under the supply chain department by coordinating with multiple functions such as AEL Supply chain, QD.
￭ Specifying obstacles and ways to overcome them through continuous improvement.
￭ Regularly monitoring the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits.
￭ Accurately analyzing options including impacts and feasibilities.
￭ Working as assigned to optimize the continuous improvement for labs performance or particular projects.
Required Qualifications
￭ Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or other related field.
￭ At least 7 years of working experience in supply chain
￭ Solid knowledge of Supply Chain Management
￭ Fluent in English
￭ Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
￭ Knowledge in MRP/ERP system; SAP, Oracle
￭ Strong service mind, logical thinking, and coordination skills
￭ Able to travel if required
Desirable Qualifications
￭ TOEIC score 650 and up is preferable.
￭ MBA units/ APICS certified Technical is preferable.
￭ Knowledge of Free zone, BOI, Import and Export regulation is preferable.
￭ Good statistics, analysis and methods skills is preferable.
￭ Project management experience and Continuous Improvement experience is preferable.
￭ Oversea working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
