You will lead a Techno Club, a permanent group of experts working for the improvement of a given industrial process and for its good implementation in the concerned workshops to achieve the BSC targets (%CONQ, CpK, Lead time, consumables cost per lens…).
You will be the key contact of Group Sun Engineering Asia for new technology roll out and Sun lenses technologies improvement plan
Asia Export Labs (AEL) scope encompasses CHLOE, EMIL, EOLT, EMTC-Rx, Tristar RX & EBD.
Your day in the Manufacturing excellence team
The main challenge is to ensure the AELs have the right resources and projects to achieve their objectives, to roll out the best practices and standards among the labs, to build with each lab the road map to Ideal State and to ensure AELs deliver the New Products & Flows and industrial performance required.
In this purpose, your main task will be the following:
- Manage Techno clubs
- Share best practices, benchmark of technology / industrial performances
- Lead or support improvement project within AEL
- Ensure standardization and versioning of PCP & SOP
- Contribute to Group Sun Engineering & AEL road map both on ART technology and digitalization surrounding it
- Define priorities of support and closely work with GLE on technical priorities / support Level 2nd associated
- Define needs of training, cascade-up and organize technical training with the support of GLE
- Close feedback and communication with GLE on process/techno/standards
Must have
- Bachelor's or master's Degree in engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in manufacturing world is preferable.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and decision-making skills.
- Project management, Process control, Statistical analysis.
- Good mindset of continuous improvement
- Knowledge on Quality systems is a plus
- Demonstrate a high adaptability (various production environments, relationship with different interlocutors from different cultures, large variety of subjects, ...)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with MS office program (especially MS Excel, MS Powerpoint etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken in English. Knowledge of another South , South East or East Asian language is a plus
- Excellent in presentation.
This position requests travelling within AEL network up to 20%
