Job Location:     AMATA City Industrial Estate, Chonburi, THAILAND

Mission:

The position holder is to responsible for the prototype software development and versioning (including documentations) to support New Products & Technologies Industrialization Projects of Global Engineering Asia – Surfacing, Edging, Mounting and Algorithm department and the ease of internal process and methodology covering functional requirement.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Participate and propose continuous improvement of the application tool and/or methodology on Surfacing New Products and Technologies in order to;

• Minimize the lead time for  product or techno  industrialization
• Improve quality of the products
• Develops prototypes necessary for feasibility developments and/or improvement in Surfacing

2. Provide application tool / user interface to support New Product project, Technology development project, ease process or methodology.

• Ensures the good expression of needs
• Ensure requirement and functional specifications providing by Industrial engineers
• Write up documentation for new functions
• Ensure delivery package if needed (Operating mode, installation guide and training)
• Ensure deliverable is fits with initial request provided by requester.
• Organizes and ensures training and transfer of skills to GE Rx-Information System teams in case of tools or GUI transferring to the industrialization phase and if necessary directly to ZTS (Zone Technical Support)
• Provide support to the clients after deployment.
• Maintain GE Surfacing Indicators Site

3. Apply prototype software methodology and maintain the software versioning through TFS.

• Apply prototype methodology for all development and versioning
• Manage versioning through TFS
• Ensure all documents related to development

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent education in Computer Engineering, Programming or related discipline
• At least 2 years in software development experience in a related field
• Programming and database management knowledge such as C#, .NET, SQL, XML
• Good English communication (writing, listening and verbal)
