Associate Product Design Coordinator
MISSION - PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Associate Product Design Coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination of Company products and samples. Working under the guidance of the Senior Design & Development Manager - Sunglasses, the Associate Product Design Coordinator will ensure that samples are accurate and received in a timely manner by internal and external customers.
POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANIZATION
Department: Product Design and Development
Reporting to: Senior Design & Development Manager
Scope: Local / Regional / Global
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of product in addition to ensuring all necessary approvals and quality standards are met.
- Partner with the Senior Product Development Manager to review incoming product samples, communicating with suppliers as to any changes or quality control concerns.
- Work in collaboration with the Sample Support team to assure that Company product is neatly organized, tracked, and replenished in a timely manner.
- Complete product setup and partner with the Account Management team to ensure appropriate item information is available to secure any purchase orders.
- Photograph and maintain image library for Company product.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Graphics teams on catalogs, packaging, artwork, and sell sheets.
- Compile and maintain reports and presentations as needed.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE
PROFICIENCIES REQUIRED:
- Basic to intermediate Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
- Strong Organization Skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors Degree
- 1 – 2 years of related work experience
- Previous experience working with consumer products preferred
