Title:  System Analyst

Job specification:​

    Industrial 4.0 technology, where all components in the manufacturing process are inter-connected, provides vast amounts of data.  Collecting, analyzing and presenting these data in a structured format, is key to help the decision making process to improve efficiency and productivity. ​

    GLE is today engaged into providing Data Driven solutions.  The Job holder is representing GLE IS, analyzing, proposing and implementing Data Driven Systems and  Process Control Solutions,  with in-house software development (Pleiades, Hydraulics, AR-SPC, SPC-Mapper).  ​

    He/She is responsible to evaluate and ensure data and system enhancement/evolution requests are in alignment with manufacturing business.   He/She provides expertise assistance and support (Level 4) for problem management to ensure resolution from root cause efficiently and sustainable in a minimal time frame. ​

    The Job holder needs to coordinate and communicate with customer, business analyst, project Team, Engineering Team ,Software Development Team and other stakeholders located across many Countries (France, US, Japan, Asia Pacific, South East, Middle East and South Africa).​


Roles and responsibilities:​


Project/Solution implementation​

▪ Participate in Data Driven Manufacturing related projects​

▪ Create specifications following functional needs and coordinate with developer team for code implementation​

▪ Participate and support pilot and rollout of Data Driven solutions delivered from GLE IS​

▪ Guarantee the quality of solution and documentation delivered​

▪ Organize Knowledge transfer and training on the new change and solution implemented​

Support and expertise​

▪ Provide Level 4 Support to all stakeholders (project, zone support)​

▪ Provide Knowledge transfer to zone IT and group IT​

System/Process evolution​

▪ Propose and follow the evolution of the core system “Pleiades” and all other assistive tools provided by GLE IS​

▪ Propose improvement of working and testing methodology​
