Title:  Operational Cyber security Analyst

Operational Cyber security Analyst (M/F)



BU/Service: Group IT / CyberSecurity, Network and Telecom

Grade: C2 Level

Location: Location: Ideally this position is based in France (Créteil) but we are open to other locations in the European time zone to allow the proper monitoring of our infrastructures.


You will have the opportunity:

In an environment where cyber attacks are an on going threat it becomes more and more important that a fully dedicated team protects our systems and our data and secures our business continuity plan for the benefit of our customers.


Your will be part of:

Reporting to the worldwide Operational cybersecurity manager you will secure the watch activity over the Essilor Group infrastructure security and will contribute to the solutions evolution.


You will be in charge of:

  • Detect, screen and qualify all incidents and threats
  • Identify their source and prevent all access to existing solutions in the company
  • Provide guidance and advice to our technical teams to find corrective actions and adjustments to put in place
  • Make sure these are rolled out in entities and zones and that they are operational and adapted
  • Insure a permanent watch activity on current and on going threats as well as our software and hardware potential weaknesses
  • Enrich knowledge databases as well as action plans and processes to counter attack these weaknesses
  • Evaluate and propose new options from the market offer to always better assure our security solutions (Study, POC,Technical watch)
  • Participate to crisis warrooms (Cyber attacks and any other issue including a security threat)


Your profile:

  • The candidate will hold a master or engineering degree with a specialty in cyber security.
  • He/she will be able to demonstrate real “think out of the box” capabilities,
  • a strong customer focus
  • availability to face and solve any type of events
  • also strong in making quick and appropriate decisions
  • he/she will be autonomous in his/her daily routines
  • At minimum, he/she will be able to demonstrate at least 5 year experience with proven successes and results.
  • Being part of an international and multi-cultural team he/she will speak fluently English with a true ability for team work.
  • Able to make strong and realistic proposal he/she is active to identify
  • roll out efficient solutions to face and implement proper solutions to fix our issues and reduce the risks.
