A senior level strategic role that will be influential in shaping consumer perceptions of lens and eyewearcategory, orchestrating the next chapter of their evolution. The PR manager leads the development, implementation, and integration of strategic globalPR plansthat cultivate our relationships with BtoB and BtoCmediaand engage our target audience to boost brand awareness and drive commercial success.This role will overseeagency partners to maximise brand presenceon various channels (e.g., web, TV and social media) ensuring brand content is consistent, well timed, and newsworthy. The PR managerwill also play the role of broadening awareness of these strategies and increase visibility of PR programs and priorities within the organisation and to key stakeholders, while working closely with cross-functional leaders to maintain a high-level of collaboration and alignment on all consumer communications.Influencer marketinginitiatives as well as potential celebrity endorsement and product placement activationsare another key part of the role, making sure we gain high visibility thru the right people/talents that are crucial to speak to our audience.

PR Strategy development–developglobal

PR plans and strategies •Brand storytelling–formulatebrand stories to refine the core messages and brand narrative.

•Influencer/Celebritystrategy–driveand develop the global influencerand celebritynetwork of brand advocates.

•Goal Setting–setobjectives prioritiesand monitorperformance.

•Brand visibility–maximisebrand presence on various channels (e.g. web, print, TV, social media and new media) to maintain the brands cultural relevance.

•Brand Partnerships–cultivateand maintain relationships with brand and agencypartners.

•Brand Voice–ensurebrand consistency in all PR efforts.

•PR Activations–developPR activations to increase awareness of the category

•Brands of competency: Varilux, Transitions, Cryzal, Eyzen, Stellest (Essilor, Nikon)

•Reporting–reporton PR campaign results.

•Crisis management–managesensitive issues to maintain company’s good reputation.

 

Technical skills 

 

Communication strategy–proven experience developing successful 360’ communicationcampaigns on a local level

•Media relations strategy–proven experience developing successful media relations campaigns on a locallevel.

•Influencer marketing –experience in developing highly-effective influencer marketing programs and campaigns.

•Digital and social media –expertise in different social networks, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.

•Communication skills–strong speaking and writing skills in English are essential.

•Project management–simultaneously manage multiple publicity projects with tight deadlines.

•Interpersonal skills–create and maintain relationships with people.

•Multi-tasking ability–ability to work on multi projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, speed, flexibility, and adaptability under pressure.

•Organizational skills–highly organised to drive the projects and initiatives to completion.

•Proven work experience as Communication Manager, Head of PR, PR Manager or similar role.

•Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to serve as the company’s spokesperson.
