Context :

Traditionally dedicated to equipments for edging and mounting (for opticians and laboratories), the Instruments division has developed very widely in recent years in optometry and ophthalmology instruments, sectors with very strong growth potential. Essilorluxottica Instruments offers now a wide range of refractive, diagnostic, imaging, vision screening instruments and innovative connectivity solutions.

In order to support its sustained growth on this range of products, we are recruiting within the Technical Department, a « Project Manager Instruments ».



Mission :

Your mission will be to take the responsibility for several projects within the organization, dedicated to the different categories of products (Edging/Mounting and Optometry/Ophthalmology instruments).


Activities and responsabilities :

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Ensure resources availability and allocation and coordinate them
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management KPIs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared within the internal organization.
  • Take part in various transformation projects.


This position will interest :

  • Engineer's Degree or Master in technical field
  • Proven working experience in project management in Medical Device field
  • A first international experience  will be appreciated
  • A good level in english is mandatory for this position in an international and multicultural environment
