Title:  Associate Director - Marketing - Optometry / Refraction (M/F)

You will have the opportunity to :

  • Build the business perspective of your Products range in line with the EssilorLuxottica’s Group's strategy
  • Be in charge of the strategy of the range, the marketing management of the product life cycle
  • Support Business Development Teams for the commercial launch at international level of the new products.


Your main missions :

  • Assess global Optometry portfolio of products & brands and develop global segmentation, brand strategy, architecture, positioning, investment roadmap to maximize value of our brands
  • As part of this, scope and lead research projects on customer verticals (qualitative interviews and quantitative studies) to identify key customer needs, perception of our products/ brands vs. competition; conduct research on our B2B channel/ go to market in terms of what our products/ brands mean to EssilorLuxottica Distribution Networks and to ECPs; and same with identifying strengths and weaknesses of our own product portfolio/ products segments
  •  Synthesize output of both qualitative and quantitative Optometry Business Line research, conduct competitive analysis to better understand competitors’ brand, product positioning, and from these inputs, develop global marketing strategy and product range positioning
  • Once strategy is developed, define the implementation roadmap and work with BUs to deploy around the world
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and execution of downstream marketing programs in collaboration with sales teams; Lead and execute impactful product launches through integrated marketing planning
  • Develop and run an in-house network (Global Marketing, R & D, Global Operations…) to align with the development of the business line


Your profile :

  • Educational Background: Double degree in Optometry and in Marketing
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing as Product Manager in visual health industry, in international environment
  • A passion for marketing, drive to excel and strong drive to stay ahead of the competitors
  • Confirmed B2B experience. B2C experience is an added bonus
  • A real affinity for high technology products with clinical usage
  • Ability to work in complex environments
