The Lens Mainstream Product & Brand Director – Presbyopia & Myopia is part of the Lens Global Marketing Department and in in charge of the Global Marketing strategy, innovation, product & solution development for the EssilorLuxottica Lens Mainstream business.

The incumbent will report to the Lens Mainstream Product & Brand Head – Global Marketing and will be responsible for:


  • Driving the Lens Mainstream growth across channels and networks (Retail & Wholesale, mid-tier, KAs, 2nd networks, others Group Brands, partners, private & white labels, online….). Defining the global marketing strategy and priorities to trade up and create value in this segment
  • Identifying consumers and customers’ needs to build the 3-year innovation plan for the Presbyopia and Myopia Control Categories and developing differentiated products & solutions specific to the Lens Mainstream business in collaboration with R&D, Operations, the Regions and other departments of Central Marketing
  • Defining pricing and positioning along with markets and partners and responsible for the value creation of each project
  • Leveraging global innovation platforms across several Brands and business units throughout the world
  • Building the Lens Mainstream catalog and product assets for banners, segmenting the range and driving rationalization
  • Developing compelling B2B2C go-to-market and communication packages to support the launch of our global portfolio
  • Defining concepts, strong claims, storytelling and selling speech
  • Leading a team of Lens Mainstream managers


The selected candidate will be working closely with the other teams of Global Marketing as well as our Regional and Local marketing counterparts, Assortment, Retail, KAs, 2nd networks and partners’ stakeholders, R&D, Operations, legal, finance….

The candidate is an experienced Marketing professional, demonstrating a strong business acumen, international dimension as well as high potential for development.


Requirements for the position

  • Master of Business Administration Degree. Business school. Engineering & marketing degree. Optometrist & marketing degree
  • Ar. 12 to 15 years of experience, acquired in B2B2C Marketing and/or Business role in the optical industry
  • Experience in product development and consumer understanding
  • Experience in the Myopia control category is a plus
  • Experience in supporting markets, sales distribution, Key account management
  • Experience in Asia is a plus
  • International experience and used to collaborate with multi located, multi-cultural teams
  • Team management experience
  • Fluent in English. French and Italian are a plus
