The position holder is to manage, review, plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy, mid-long term S&OP plan; capacity (machine/manpower), Line Efficiency, New Product/ Flow transfer and Inventory in coordination with top management and by strongly working with APAC Rx laboratories and distribution centers. The incumbent is in charge of the delivery of accurate forecast to system and complementarily facilitate with Asia Rx sub-regions to achieve key performance indicators.

 

Main responsibility:

 

  • Responsible for the S&OP process twice a year and monthly Master plan for Asia Rx Operations.
  • Accountable for Demand and Inventory Control Management by ensuring sound EOY inventory and forecast accuracy.
  • Sourcing strategy Rx-Hub-Stock
  • Min-Max set-up, Safety stock, Replenishment
  • Lead times, Preparation, Transport
  • Replenishment Forecast
  • Propose solutions to top management to address challenges and by achieving SC performance indicators
  • Secure labs’ capacity to deliver market demands in short & medium horizon by acquiring market insights from different zones’ supply chain, and to participate actively with Industrial Strategy function in establishing the Middle-Term-Plan (PMT) to anticipate future risks & opportunities
  • Control inventory level in all labs and DCs to reduce working capital while maintaining service excellence to customers
  • Manages Portfolio and all Products throughout the Life Cycle across all phases (introduction, growth, maturity, decline, obsolescence). Drives UHS simplification.
  • Regularly review with Ops heads and business leaders the products portfolio on other to ensure coherence and improvement inventory management process.
  • Creates value through New Product Introduction by focusing on NPI Rx and stock, product codification and Calculation Rx, availability and diffusion, as well as having a strong Marketing linkage.
  • Implements and/or sponsors Supply Chain Transformation roadmap through Continuous Improvement on Distribution, Warehouse, Cost and Footprint resulting to superior service and distribution cost optimization.
  • Leads the construction of Supply Chain standard organization across APAC countries and sub-regions
  • Ensures that standard Supply Chain processes are implemented across all APAC markets
  • Develops Supply Chain skills and process maturity

 

 

Qualifications & Work Experience

 

  • Bachelor and/or master degree in supply chain, logistics or any related fields. With Master Degree in management would be advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics and/or supply chain profession, and at least 3 years in team management role
  • Highly competent Industrial Management professional with strong knowledge in supply chain management covering areas of production planning, inventory control, demand management and logistics
  • Good English communication both written and spoken
  • MS Applications (Microsoft office, Oracle), especially MS Excel
  • Possess good analytical skill & problem solving skill
  • Proven Decision making, capacity to work under pressure, proactivity

Able to travel aboard 30-40% of working time
